What is Harry Potter and the Cursed Child about?
Based on an original new story by JK Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, the West End show follows Harry Potter ( ), as an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic grappling with his dark past, and his youngest son Albus (Thomas Grant), who struggles with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted.
Thomas Aldridge and Michelle Gayle join the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child cast as Ron and Hermione, reuniting the three best friends on the London stage.
Following JK Rowling's seven bestselling Harry Potter novels and eight blockbuster films, created at the Warner Bros. Studios, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage.
