What is the story of The Phantom of the Opera?

The Phantom of the Opera is a gothic romance which tells the story of a mysterious masked figure who haunts a Paris opera house and his obsession with a young opera singer, Christine.

With the help of a mesmerising score, jaw-dropping scenery and special effects, the Phantom of the Opera cast stun audiences as they perform unforgettable songs including The Music of the Night, All I Ask Of You and Think of Me.

Where is the theatre and how do I get there?

The production is playing at Her Majesty’s Theatre, which is a short walk from Piccadilly Circus Tube station, served by the Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines; and close to the Overground train from London Charing Cross station.

Many local buses also stop at nearby Haymarket bus stop.

The run time for the show is two hours and 30 minutes, including one interval. 

When is the show playing? 

Evening performances are Monday through to Saturday and are usually at 7.30pm. 

Matinee performances are on Wednesdays and Saturdays and are usually at 2.30pm.
