About

From con life to convent, singer Deloris Van Cartier experiences divine consequences as she adjusts to her new life under witness protection (and the watchful eye of Mother Superior…) in Sister Act at Eventim Apollo.

What is Sister Act about?

As a murder witness, disco diva Deloris van Cartier is in danger and is placed somewhere she can’t be found – in a convent! The convent is a far cry from her old life as a lounge singer in Reno and staying in disguise and breaking old habits is hard for Deloris. But, with the help of her fellow sisters, can this nun on the run use the power of her voice to save her soul?

Featuring a soundtrack of uplifting songs inspired by disco, soul and Motown, and a choir of singing nuns, this hilarious musical will be the answer to all your prayers!

Who's in the cast?

Sister Act features an all-star cast with the sensational Beverly Knight playing Deloris Van Cartier joined by comedy legend Jennifer Saunders as Mother Superior.

Along with The Greatest Showman and Tony Award-nominated actress Keala Settle (Sister Mary Patrick), TV and stage star Lesley Joseph (Sister Mary Lazarus), Olivier Award-winner Clive Rowe (Officer Eddie Souther) and Hairspray's Lizzie Bea (as Sister Mary Robert).
