Get excited as Soccer Aid for UNICEF returns to London this summer on Sunday 12 June at the London Stadium and features a special half time show from Mr Soccer Aid himself, UNICEF UK Ambassador Robbie Williams.

What is Soccer Aid for UNICEF?

Created by Robbie Williams in 2006, Soccer Aid for UNICEF is the world’s biggest celebrity football match, raising money to give kids the best start in life.

Once a year, England take on their opponents, the Soccer Aid World XI FC. Supported by passionate fans in an iconic stadium, the event harnesses the power of football to help make sure that children can grow up happy, healthy and able to play.

Who is playing at Soccer Aid for UNICEF?

Celebrity favourites Damian Lewis, Tom Grennan, Lee Mack, Mo Farah and Martin Compston lace up their boots once again to play alongside footballing legends Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Fara Williams, Patrice Evra and Carli Lloyd.

Usain Bolt makes his return as captain of the Soccer Aid World XI team, competing at the London Stadium ten years on from his gold medal heroics at London 2012.

Taking to the pitch for the first time, new signings for 2022 include former One Direction singer Liam Payne as captain of the England team. He's joined by Dragon’s Den star Steven Bartlett and comedian Alex Brooker – the first-ever physically disabled participant to take part in the game.
