What is Diwali?
Diwali is the five-day festival of lights, and is celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs and Jains. Diwali traditionally symbolises joy, love, reflection, resolution, forgiveness, light and knowledge; and represents the victory of good over evil, and light over darkness.
