Handel & Hendrix in London

About
Head to Brook Street in west London where the former houses of composer George Frideric Handel and rock musician Jim Hendrix sit side by side and make up the Handel & Hendrix in London museum.
Learn about Handel’s life and music in the place where he composed much of his most famous oratorio, The Messiah. Capture the atmosphere of the period as you wander through the four restored rooms and explore the temporary exhibitions on display in the adjoining house.
Next door, the main room of Jimi Hendix’s flat has also been restored and is home to a permanent exhibition that explores both his musical and social significance.
Regular rehearsals, talks, concerts and other events bring life back to the homes of these two greats.
