This garden square in Hackney was first laid out in 1683, and has been a beautiful green area for the people of London ever since.

The square has gone through many changes over the centuries, but is now considered to be the beating heart of the Hoxton art scene. Dotted around each side of the square are various bars and restaurants, while the green itself plays host to events throughout the year.
