Woodberry Wetlands was closed for nearly 200 years before being reopened (by Sir David Attenborough, no less) and managed by the London Wildlife Trust in 2016.

Migratory birds take refuge here each season making it a great spot for bird lovers young and old. Stroll by the water's edge on the boardwalk, and stop in to the café for a break. The 28-mile-long New River Path, that runs from Hertfordshire into London, runs along the northern edge of the reservoir here for anyone looking for a bit more adventure.
